Creating Git Remote Repository

To create a Git repository on GitHub, follow these steps

  1. Sign in to your GitHub account and click the "+" icon in the top right corner of the page.

  2. Select "New repository" from the dropdown menu.

  3. On the "Create a new repository" page, enter a name for your repository.

  4. Optionally, you can add a description of your repository and choose whether to make it public or private.

  5. Select the option to "Initialize this repository with a README" if you want to create a new README file for your repository.

  6. Click the "Create repository" button to create your new Git repository on GitHub.

That's it! Your new repository is now created on GitHub, and you can start pushing your code to it using Git.
